Help

I’ve become increasingly aware how many of my readers follow my journey & read my content, because they can relate to the issues I talk about. It’s no secret that I am currently in therapy for an eating disorder and PSTD linked to childhood trauma. I have suffered with various mental health issues which have been documented on my social media platforms throughout my blogging career.

As I’ve grown and changed over the years, no subject is too taboo and I find strength in my vulnerability. I discuss domestic violence, children in care & body image issues to name but a few but I am not a therapist or trained professional. I can offer my advice and support, but I do not have the capacity to fully help a person who may be of need or in crisis.

If you would like to talk to someone about issues relating to food and you feel you, or someone you know may have an eating disorder then please contact The Recover Clinic. They are equipped to be there for anyone who needs it and they even have an app that contains lots of support too – just search ‘Recover & Me’ in the App Store or on Google Play.

For depression, self harm & other mental health issues, please contact – Mind or ReThink.

For support relating to child sexual exploitation, abuse and bullying, please contact The Children’s Society.

For general support relating to things like voting, peer pressure & housing for under 25s, please contact The Mix.

In times of crisis and despair, please contact The Samaritans who are available 24/7.
