Hey boo! Its been a longtime coming hasn’t it?

So I wanted my website to reflect the person I am right now because sweet lord she’s changed since this blog began way back in 2013.

I think its important to take you guys with me through this journey so welcome to the new and improved – I hope you like it.

So lets get reacquainted.

The Homepage
I knew when I was designing my blog that I wanted something a lil’ bit sexy. A hub & a place to navigate easily through every section of my site – so the homepage was born and I absolutely love it. Here you can pretty much find everything you could possibly need whether you’re a new reader, a dedicated reader OR a brand/pr. The homepage is to showcase who I am as a person but as a blogger and media personality too.

  • Featured Content is an interchangeable widget that showcases a variety of posts that are either new, popular or a favourite of mine.
  • The 6 Boxes are pretty self explanatory but a really important one is the ‘help’ box. This is where you can find useful links to registered charities, organisations or clinics that specialise in mental health or social & taboo issues. I’m not a therapist or trained professional so if you feel you need more advice and support than what I can offer – check out that page.
  • The Playlist is a chance for me to share with you songs and artists I am loving month to month. (I have great music taste I’ll have you know lol).
  • Enter My Blog is to view my actual post feed. You’ll notice that it opens in a separate browsing window, just incase you were playing music and didn’t want it to stop. There are also a few shopable widgets throughout this page.

The Categories
I have streamlined everything in to 4 categories and then in each of those 4, 3 sub categories. Once you have a play around you’ll be able to see what I’m talking about. My blog is now predominately advice and style based with posts on self care and travel thrown in. I think my content is much more straightforward to find now and it also makes producing a post a lot easier.

The beauty category has been downsized to ‘beauty tips’ within self care. This is because I don’t talk about beauty an awful lot, so there was no point in having a dedicated section for it. However, I love makeup and skincare because its a part of my self care so when needed, I will share my beauty tips and tricks with you all. I won’t be doing full on beauty reviews, but I will definitely talk about my favourite products etc etc.

I’ve also decided to talk about careers & blogging more so you’ll notice a new sub category for that in advice.

The lifestyle category is for my thoughts, my travels and my life experiences – I’m really excited to start creating content in these departments.

Everything else is pretty much the same.

The Shopable Features
I wanted to add a lot of shopable features to make things easy for myself and you. If I’m being brutally honest its also a way for me to make a small amount of commission, as I don’t have advertising on my blog AT ALL anymore. When browsing my site you’ll see lots of shopable widgets through my posts, my homepage and other various corners of You can also shop my entire wardrobe and Instagram feed on The Wardrobe page. I get so many questions about where I buy my clothes so everything will be linked somewhere on my blog. Happy shopping!

The Newsletter
I needed a new venture so I have decided to release a newsletter at 8am every Monday. It’ll contain some motivation, some inspiration and a general chat about my life. What’s been going, what I’ve loved that week but also what I’ve loathed. I’ll be sharing my favourite quotes, books I’ve been reading and fashion finds that I simply have to tell you about. My newsletter will pretty much consist of anything and everything but will predominately be there to inspire you to kick butt every week! Please sign up here.

So thats it. This is my brand new site that I’m really bloody proud of. There is still a small amount of tweaking to be done and I am still going through all my posts re-tagging everything so they fall into the right category, but I couldn’t wait any longer to share this with you. A massive thank you to Phil at Pipdig for bringing my ideas to life and always being a pleasure to work with. Have a browse and let me know what you think.x
